Chelsea lose out as David Silva joins Man City for £27m!

According to reports this evening, the Valencia and Spain midfielder David Silva has agreed to join Manchester City for £27m, but if Roque Santa Cruz goes the other way then the price will be reduced to just £21m, but that depends on how negotiations go on between Santa Cruz and Valencia.
The Daily Mirror has been told by “sources” that Silva has agreed a contract worth £80,000 a week, but the move won’t be officially announced until after Spain’s involvement in the World Cup is over and Silva has completed a medical in Manchester.
Chelsea were also rumoured to be keen on bringing in Silva to replace Joe Cole, but it seems they have been outbid by Robert Mancini’s side.
