The new Chelsea midfielder Yoss Benayoun has given his first interview since leaving Liverpool, and he has serious issues with the way that Rafael Benitez managed the players, including himself of course.
I don’t really need to make much comment, just read it yourself and see what you think…

The Tottenham striker Robbie Keane was an instant hit at Celtic when he arrived on loan in January, and scored an amazing 16 goals in 19 games for the Bhoys, but his boss Harry Redknapp has ruled out any chance of another loan to the Scottish giants.
Redknapp has made it clear that Keane will only leave White Hart Lane if someone puts in a reasonable bid, and he wants a return on their investment rather than loaning him out for nothing.

The England Ambassador David Beckham has picked his “best team” from all the talent on show at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, and he only thinks that one England player was good enough to be rated in the top XI, Chelsea’s Ashley Cole!

According to todays Daily Star, Chelsea are set to open the bidding for the Liverpool striker Fernando Torres at a paltry £30m, which is only a few million more than the Reds paid for him three seasons ago.
It is a certainty that Liverpool won’t let their star striker leave for less than £50m so I am not sure if this is true or even in the slightest bit likely. It is like Barcelona offering Arsenal £30m for Cesc Fabregas!

A report in the Sun this morning says that Chelsea are lining up a bid for the impressive Dutch defender Gregory Van Der Wiel. He was earlier reported as a target for Arsenal, who are still looking to buy another defender, but the tabloid thinks that Chelsea and Bayern Munich are now the front-runners for the 22 year-old Ajax youngster.

I have just read this extremely amusing article in the Sun that says that Man City are going to bid £20m (Haha!) for the Chelsea striker Didier Drogba, and they think that Chelsea will be happy to let him go (Haha!) if Fernando Torres comes to Stamford Brisge.
Try and read it without laughing too much! They said: MANCHESTER CITY are lining up a £20million bid for Didier Drogba.

The Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti may have won the Premier League and FA Cup double last season, but he is already preparing to defend both titles, despite being six weeks away from the start of the 2010/11 season. He has already started giving off positive vibes ahead of the new challenge.

Chelsea brought in the Liverpool midfielder Yossi Benayoun last week, and now it seems that he is very good friends with Fernando Torres, who Chelsea are also trying to persuade to move to Stamford Bridge this summer.
Torres and Benayoun are former team-mates, and the young Spaniard believes that the Israeli international fits in perfectly with his style of play.

This may have not been the most entertaining game from a purists point of view, but it was certainly a brilliant tactical battle between two technically excellent teams.
Spain seemed to be in control for most of the first half, but the Germans were always willing to attack in numbers when they got a chance to get the ball.
