When clubs like Arsenal, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona, and Manchester United are all at loggerheads over the signature of a player who isn’t Pogba or either one of Messi and C.Ronaldo, then you can always know he is an unsung soccer hero- or one is in making. Palermo F.C forward, Paulo Dybala has been in the center of attention from around Europe, and trust Chelsea not to be left out in such affairs.

The 21 years old Argentine is set to leave Serie A outfit, Palermo by summer. Palermo president, Maurizio Zamparini confirmed this when he declared the club’s intention to sign another striker (Aleksandar Trajkovski) to replace him. Dybala has been linked with a move away from the club and is not set to renew his 4-year long contract which ends next year, as he turned out a 3-year extension in January. Dybala single-handedly kept Palermo out of the relegation zone this season with his 13 goals and 10 great assists.

Chelsea are in race to bring him to Stamford bridge, and his agent Gustavo Mascardi confirmed Mourinho’s likeness for the one who has received comparison with fellow Argentine, Sergio Aguero. The blues are keen to boost their attack line for the coming season, and they hope to get the striker when the transfer window opens. The club are ready to let him go, and the president has declared;

“At least three teams are really interested in him. The apple is ripe and we’re ready to pick it. We’ll meet the lad and his agent to complete the deal; those who understand football realise his potential.”

For a fees of £29.5 million pounds, the club is ready to cash in on the transfer. The versatile player is full of many attacking options, he can play as a striker, supporting forward and attacking midfielder. Such a great player will make a good addition to the Chelsea team, as they are in dire need of a striker. However, his final destination will only be made known in 10 to 15 days, as he is taking his time to decide his next stop, one where Champions League action exists.
