Chelsea could make a shock move for misfiring Manchester United Striker Radamel Falcao at the end of the season. After failing to secure a permanent contract at Manchester United due to his dreadful performance this season, Chelsea are reportedly ready to give the Colombian Striker another chance to prove himself in the Premier League next season.

With the expiration of Didier Drogba’s contract at the end of the summer, Jose Mourinho is said to be looking for a replacement for the Ivorien Striker having already identified City’s Edin Dzeko as a potential transfer target.

Chelsea fans will always be familiar with the name Radamel Falcao as the Colombian single handedly destroyed Chelsea when they faced Athletico Madrid in their European Super Cup clash. The fans will be hoping that the Colombian International can replicate such form when he comes to the team.

However, it is still unclear whether Chelsea are looking to buy or loan the Colombian striker but as things stand due to his terrible season at Manchester United and his struggles ever since he recovered from his cruciate knee ligament injury. Chelsea will be inclined to take the latter option. If Chelsea were to sign Radamel Falcao, the Colombian International will have to take a huge pay-cut as it is very unlikely to pay the striker the same £265,000 he was collecting at Manchester United.
