The special one to remain with Chelsea for four more years? Definitely the greatest news to all Chelsea faithfuls. That means more trophies for the club, more great players, more tactics, and of course, more controversies – as the Portuguese is never really far from them all anyway, and those are what actually make him special. More mind games too, and to taunt the gunners, probably still more defeat to the Frenchman anytime they both meet on the field of play (or outside it?)

Jose Mourinho is reportedly extending his contract with the team by another two years. His 8.4 million pounds per year deal ends in 2017, and he is set to sign till 2019, with the new deal worth 42 million over the period of the contract. He recently won the EPL after 5 years that the club was without it and after 2 years when he returned as head coach. The 2010 FIFA World Coach of the Year said concerning his future with the club,

“As I was saying since the beginning of the season, I stay here until Mr Abramovich wants me to stay. The day he tells me to go, I go.”

This only reiterates what he said earlier this year;

“I’m not here thinking about my next move because I don’t want to have a next move. I will have a next move if and when Chelsea decides it’s time for that. I’m here to stay. I belong to Chelsea, Chelsea belong to me. I gave a lot to Chelsea in the past, but they also gave a lot to me. This is a different professional relationship.”

His first stint with the club that lasted 3 years ended with him falling out with club owner, Russian Roman Abramovich. And in just those 3 years, he had achievements that made him the most successful manager in the history of the club with 6 trophies, and he remained undefeated at home all through.
