According to British daily the daily express, Chelsea should be bracing themselves for a raid from Real Madrid. According to the paper, Real Madrid will launch a shunning bid for Chelsea star Eden Hazard should Manchester United persist in their attempt to sign Gareth Bale from Real Madrid.
Real Madrid had made it clear they will not be selling Gareth Bale but express believes the European champions have slightly changed their stance after it emerged Manchester United will put in a bid of £80 million for the former Tottenham star.
Last month Real president Florentino Perez was quoted by Marca to have said ( translated by express ); “We would never listen to any offers for Bale no matter what the bid was.
“He is a unique player who has already given so much to the team.
“He is the key to the club’s future, just like I cannot imagine a future without Cristiano Ronaldo.”
The paper also report that aside Manchester United, Manchester city are also interested in signing the Welsh who only just two summers ago joined Real Madrid for world record transfer said to be €94 million.
If Gareth Bale is sold in the summer, Real Madrid hope to convince ( I mean bull ) Chelsea into selling Eden Hazard to them. Hazard only recently signed a new contract with Chelsea that will tie him to the club till the 2017.
Hazard has scored 18 goals and assists 12 other goals in 43 games for Chelsea so far this season.
