It seems that Fulham boss Roy Hodgson is close to securing another excellent deal for his club after it was revealed today that he is in talks with Liverpool’s Brazilian defender Fabio Aurelio.
The 30 year-old is out-of-contract at Anfield, and despite being offered a pay-per-play deal by Liverpool, the Brazilian has decided to look elsewhere.
There have been lucrative offers from Greek clubs for Aurelio, according to reports, but he would much prefer to stay in the Premier League.
He could certainly do a lot worse that joining the Europa Cup finalists, and Roy Hodgson seems to have a knack of getting the best out of his cheaply-acquired players.
If Aurelio stays fit, he could be a brilliant signing by Hodgson.
