Mourinho serious about signing Ashley Cole

There have been many rumours that Ashley Cole may try to move away from London if his acrimonious divorce from Cheryl comes to pass, which is now looking extremely likely.

Well it now looks like his old boss Jose Mourinho is keen on taking Ashley to Real Madrid, where he intends using four defenders in their new formation.

“I like to play with four at the back,” Mourinho said. “Though my teams are always ready to play with only three, a system I have used to win many games over the years. But normally we will play with four, but with two offensive full backs in the style of Maicon and Ashley Cole.”

Let us hope that Cole is happy to remain at Chelsea, and won’t let his head be turned by Jose….
