The Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic has been the subject of much speculation lately, and has been linked with a move to Real Madrid and to both the Milan giants in Italy, but his agent says that it is all just paper talk.
Vlado Borozan said: “It’s something that is highly unlikely,”.
“Ivanovic still has two years of contract and has no intention of leaving London.

Ray left in charge
In Ancelotti’s absence, Ray Wilkins has given the pre-match conference for Chelsea’s game against Blackburn, and has said that there will be three players missing on Saturday, after assessing the players after the Champions League match against Atletico Madrid.
‘We have a couple of knocks and bumps and bruises but on the whole we are not too bad. Bosingwa will be out, Zhirkov will be out and John Obi Mikel probably just won’t make this one but we are getting there and should have a fully fit squad within a couple of weeks,’ he said.

Chelsea host Tottenham in which looks like their hardest fixture so far this season. The Blues have won five out of five this season, and have a great home record against the Lilywhites, but the games are always hard-fought, exciting games. I’ll never forget the 4-4 draw that we were all treated to the season before last.

The Chelsea defender Ricardo Carvalho is expected to be alongside John Terry tonight against Porto at Stamford Bridge, and he is looking forward to facing his old club once again.
He also thinks that, although the Blues will be missing Jose Bosingwa and Didier Drogba through suspension, the team will be needing them more when it comes to the business end of the competition.

Chelsea will play Porto tomorrow without their star striker Didier Derogba, who is banned for the first four games in the Champions League, and Jose Bosingwa, who is banned for three matches.
Also he is still waiting on Yuri Zhirkov to recover from his injury and make his Blues debut, but it is not likely to be tomorrow.
Deco is also still recovering from an injury sustained while on international duty.

The Chelsea defender Jose Bosingwa has been talking about the new diamond formation that has been introduced by Carlo Ancelotti, and his role in it.
“It is good and also not good, because I don’t have the winger to help me with defending, which makes it more hard. But it gives the team more space for attacks and I like the system,” he said.

No matter that Carlo Ancelotti has said that there won’t be any more arrivals this summer, and no matter that Bayern Munich have said that Jose Bosingwa will not be joining them, the Sunday papers continue to make up stories to fill there pages!

The German giants Bayern Munich have been chasing the Chelsea defender Jose Bosingwa since the beginning of the summer, and even up until last week they seemed pretty sure that Chelsea would release him.
But yesterday Bayern coach Louis van Gaal told Kicker, “He [Bosingwa] won’t come”.
This always seemed a strange story to me. Why would Chelsea let Bosingwa go after just one successful season at Stamford Bridge?
