Fabio Capello has vowed to bring more youngsters into his new-look England side, and he certainly did that last night, especially with the three Arsenal youngsters, Theo Walcott, Jack Wilshere and Keiran Gibbs, who are all expected to play in big part in the England teams of the future.

The FIFA president Sepp Blatter has agreed that the errors made by the referees at this World Cup have been ‘deplorable’ and has made an official apology to both England and Mexico for the goal decisions that changed their respective games.
He has also said that the question of goal-line technology will be discussed again later this month when FIFA meet in Wales.

1/ Gerrard and Lampard are incompatible. Both players are focal points for their clubs breaking from the midfield. But to operate successfully, they need disciplined, defensive midfielders to operate alongside or behind them (Makelele, Mikel, Essien for Chelsea, and Mascherano/Alonso for Liverpool).
Whilst playing together, one essentially negates the influence of the other. When can you remember BOTH players having a good game for England? Gerrard was superior in the group stages, whereas Lampard was decent against Germany. Gerrard was tactically naïve and had three futile efforts on goal.

England had looked very unimpressive in the group stages, while Germany easily won their group, but for some crazy reason the English were favourites to win this game.
They were destroyed! Okay they may go on about the goal that was disallowed, but they had conceded two goals in the first half-hour, and conceded another two after the England “goal”.
The England coach Fabio Capello blamed tiredness on the teams lacklustre performances.

England desperately needed to win this match after disappointing against the USA and Algeria, and although they managed to take the three points away, there was a few anxious moments as they failed to build on their one-goal lead.
James Milner had made a brilliant centre on to the boot of Jermain Defoe, and pressed continually to try and double their lead but just couldn’t quite make the breakthrough.

The Chelsea captain John Terry has been accused of leading a revolt against the England manager Fabio Capello, and he has given a press conference saying exactly how he and the players feel after the first two games.
He spoke as if he was still the England captain, and was clear and coherent and spoke a lot of sense! ” I am here on behalf of the players.” he said.

The Chelsea captain John Terry has admitted that there is something desperately wrong in the England dressing room, and the so-called stars are not playing with the desire to win that got them to the finals in the first place.
“The most frustrating thing for the manager to see was the lack of fight and desire,” confessed Terry. “We all, as a group of players, need to relax and do what we do week-in, week-out for our clubs and do what we did in the qualifying campaign.

After Englands lacklustre performance against the USA, it was thought that they could only get better, but in fact they have got decidedly worse!
Why should such big stars suddenly be overtaken by nerves to such a degree? Rooney couldn’t even pass the ball, never mind shoot at goal. Lampard only managed to gve the ball away when he even got into the game, and the rest of the team wasn’t much better.

The German legend Franz Beckanbauer thinks that England have “gone backwards” and are nothing but a “hit and rush” team, and blames it purely on the fact that there are too many foreigners playing in the Premier League, and very few English players get a look-in.
“What I saw from the English in their 1-1 draw against the USA had very little to do with football,’ said Beckenbauer.
