Porto are being urged by their Brazilian star Hulk, to ignore the bigger bid for him by Paris Saint-Germain as he prefers a move to Chelsea. The 25-year old striker, who is also utilized as a winger, has been with the Portuguese side since 2008, scoring 73 goals in his 96 league games.
He has a very good relationship with the club, but has made them aware of his desire to take a step up in class. He believes that they will not stand in the way of his career as he has been loyal to them in the past.
The French, mega rich club have muddied the waters with a £43 million offer for Hulk, but the player has said “Chelsea are the current European champions and would please any player, and I’m no exception. I’d be happy if the transfer happened.”
Another player who Chelsea have put in abid for and been rejecred is Wigan’s Victor Moses. Thought to be in the region of £4 million, it was considered as way too low by Wigan chairman Dave Whelan. He has since offered the 21-year old Nigerian international a new deal with double his current salary.
Moses seems to be pushing for a move to Stamford Bridge since hearing of Chelsea’s interest. “Now that I’m done with the national team, my attention should switch to the transfer window.”
It seems that if Roberto Di Matteo is serious, he will be with the Blues soon.
