Former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti backs the current manager Andres Villas-Boas after the bad results Chelsea got in the last matches. The Italian coach says that the manager is not to blame for the bad run, but the players in the team who are now “too old”
“Villas-Boas cannot work miracles. This is an old team now.”
“It is exactly the same team as the one I left, with the exception of Juan Mata and Raul Meireles.”
“The problem is not Villas-Boas, it is with the team that he has.”
“Andre is young and inexperienced, but he has done well and he is talented.”
“I feel Roman (Abramovich) needs to give him time to sort it out and make his ideas work.”
This is a topic which was discussed over and over again right after the Portuguese took over the team. The press was saying back then that the coach is much younger than a part of the team and that won’t bring good results. The problem isn’t that the coach is too young, but that the team is too old, or at least that’s what Ancelotti thinks. What about you?
Ancelotti is ryt,de problem is dat we’v got alot of tired old legs in de pitch now.de solution is simple;get rid of dem by replacin dem.
Drogba, Anelka, Malouda, Mikel, Kalou, Bosingwa , Hilario and Ferreira are Chelsea’s problems. The first 6 must immediately leave the club. Hilario and Ferreira are just old and useless for the team but never caused any problems. Also Terry and Lampard must accept that they must be second choice from now on and just tutor the youngsters for a couple of years before they end their careers. Building on Torres ,Ivanovic, Romeu, Mata, Sturrigde, Lukaku, Kakuta, McEachran, Piazon, Bertrand and Bruma must be first priority for AVB. Maybe he stays out of every title this season but the team will be ready for the next decade to compete in every front.
Ancelotti is saying what I said last
week. Chelsea problems come from
exhausted players who are no more
capable nor motivated to fight.
AVB is paying for errors he has not
committed. A new generation and
new blood are mandatory for
Chelsea to recover and avoid a
complete decline.
THeo, i’m totally agree with u..Drogba, Anelka, Malouda, Mikel, Bosingwa , Hilario, Ferreira, lampard and terry ..we don’t want to see all of u after next january in chelsea squad..all of u are bullshits..!!
Lamps and Terry are not shit. They are in fact still better than the other youngsters. But they are ageing and they should be left to complete their career in Chelsea and ride gallantly into the sunset.
i think all the old leg should go which include the likes of drogba, anelka, malouda, kalou and other player that does not relevant and new and fresh talented player should be bought in to replace d old ones, if not we re going 4m the bad to the worst. thanks u guy anyhow up chelsea
