Ashley Cole – I'm not leaving Chelsea!

There has been numerous rumours lately that the Chelsea defender Ashley Cole could be looking for pastures anew as he now has to come to terms with the breakup of his marriage to the gorgeous Cheryl, but it seems that he has eassured the club that he has absolutely no intention of leaving Stamford Bridge anytime in the near future.

The Daily Mirror quotes a ‘senior Chelsea source’ as saying: “Ashley is going absolutely nowhere and he has notified the club he has no intention of seeking a move.

“He remains eternally grateful for the support he received from people at the club including owner Roman Abramovich.”

The Mirrow says that if the rumours persist, they will consider making an official statement on their website, just to put a stop to the speculation.
