Following a number of enquiries during January’s transfer period, it is understood that the Galatasaray captain Arda Turan could become available this summer.
Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea have been perennially linked with the playmaker who has performed well despite Galatasaray sitting only 7th after their campaign this season.
Ahmet Bulut has said: “Of course there has been a lot of interest, from the Premier League and Spain, but the club do not want to sell Arda at the moment. In six months we will see.”
“He has two years left on his contract. For sure, he will stay until the end of the season then after we will see. At the moment he is staying because he is the captain of the team, but then we will see.
The 23 year old had been previously quoted as saying it would be a dream to move to Anfield. Tottenham Hotspur manager, Harry Redknapp had an offer for Turan rejected in the summer. It is thought that Chelsea and Arsenal are monitoring the situation.
Arda Turan is an icon in Turkey and many believe he is the most exciting pospect that the country has produced.
