Chelsea Willing To Risk It All For The Trophy

Chelsea’s manager Roberto Di Matteo has admitted that he’s not looking to keep his players happy ahead of the Bayern Munich game, and that the number one priority is to push as hard as possible before their departure to Germany.

The Italian is even going to risk further injuries to his players David Luiz and Gary Cahill in his attempt to get them fit before the game after the three week period of absence the duo has endured.

“David Luiz and Gary Cahill both won’t be available for this Sunday. We are still trying our hardest, working towards having them in the group and training next week.

“They have been out for three or four weeks, it’s not like three months. With the suspensions we have to try our hardest and push them as hard as we can.

“We always try to get them back as soon as possible and we tried, but he (Luiz) wasn’t ready, so now we are trying for the last game.”

It’s safe to say that if Chelsea won’t have Luiz and Cahill the outcome will be a clear one. As the Blues will already be without Ramirez, Meireles, Terry and Ivanovic, it will be impossible for Roberto Di Matteo to send a squad strong enough on the pitch to defeat Bayern Munich in the final.

Who do you think should replace the four who are missing?
