Scott Parker wants permanent Chelsea move
The West Ham midfielder Scott Parker has looked certain to be leaving Upton Park this summer, but the massive transfer fee wanted by the Hammers has deterred most of the possible suitors, leaving just Chelsea as the team most likely to match the asking price.
West Ham wanted Parker to go out on loan for one year to Chelsea or Spurs in the hope that they regain their place in the Premiership next season, but the player himself only wants a permanent move and the total cost for a 30 year-old is just too much.
Aston Villa have denied making an offer, while Tottenham’s Harry Redknapp has admitted that it is not economically viable for Spurs to buy him at that price.
Redknapp said: “If you take into account the fee of around £8m, signing on fees and wages you’re talking about a £30m deal,”
“There is no way the club would sanction a deal for a 30-year-old who would have no resale value at the end of his contract.”
So now it is just Chelsea left in the running and Roman Abramovich will have to decide this week if he will take Parker on West Ham’s terms. But the deal only likely to go ahead if there is no leeway from Tottenham on Luka Modric………

ha ha ha this article makes me laugh cuz I don’t this man is the right solution to chelsea midfieder,when other player are there.i bet you people that chelsea will be flump by next season by not signing some good quality player that can perfume some miraclelous skills while on the pitch the likes of Bastus of lyon and I even suggested that chelsea should go to the Brazilian league ,cuz their are some young quality player who can make the team better in the future.blues 4 real.
parker was voted fwa player of the year last season. quality still there.
