Spanish press ridicule Aguero link

The Spanish press have given their response to this mornings headlines linking Chelsea with Sergio Aguero for £33 Million.

They were quick to note that last summer Atletico Madrid turned down £57 Million from Chelsea, £44 Million last Novemeber and that he has a £60 Million buy out clause.

Point they are making is that Atletico will not accept just £33 Million for a player that just 2 months ago was valued at £7 Million more by us.

As for the Atletico fans and their comments on various sites they appear split, some saying take the money for a player that has lost weight and who is not performing at his best to those that are saying that of they sell Aguero that they will never be able to compete with the best teams.

Generally the opinion of the Spanish is that Aguero will go but not for £33 Million.

Our opinion is that we will get Aguero and probably for a sum between £33 Million and £40 Million but not until after the World Cup.
