27 Goals 6 Assists £25m Rated Striker Hints At Chelsea Move

Alexandre Lacazette

Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette has expressed his doubts concerning his future with the Ligue 1 side. He said to French television;

“I am good here, but after that I need to think about my progression, the future. We will see at the end of the season.

The French outfit’s president, Jean Michel-Aulas had earlier pointed out that request for the 23 year-old forward will not be attended to, but the above quote nullifies that. The French international has 27 goals and 6 assists in 31 league appearances for Lyon this season, putting them behind league leaders, PSG in race for the top spot.

With the blues in dire need of a quality striker in preparation towards next season, the 25 million pounds-worth Lacazette would come as one of the best options in providing goals for the needed blues’ front line. Chelsea almost got their season’s aspirations marred with the injuries of Remy and Costa. With the coach pointing at the bringing  in of a key striker by summer. Lacazette who wants to move to a bigger club won’t be a bad choice. As Europe 2016 draws closer, the French forward wants to be a key part of the Les Bleus national team, and he wants to prove his quality by playing for a more bigger side, and he is not likely to reject a Chelsea offer.

Chelsea are planning on a swoop of the French forward, with plans of letting Remy go to Lyon. Reports coming from The Sun says;

” Chelsea are winning the race to sign £25m-rated Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette. The Blues will offer £15m plus Loic Remy to see off Manchester United’s interest in the talented 23-year-old French international. Lacazette earns around £12,000-a- week at Lyon and will be offered over four times that at Stamford Bridge. He shares the same agent as Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma’s brother, Lionel, and it is understood that contact has been made between the two parties. But it is the offer of Remy in part exchange which could swing the deal.”
