Bruyne was initially loaned to German side Werder Bremen in 2012 after his signing, but on his return, Mourinho didn’t include him in his plans, and he finally sold him in 2014 for 18 million pounds. He has grown into a fine player, and says concerning a Stamford bridge comeback,

“I think, to be honest, that I would not return to Chelsea as long as he [Mourinho] is in charge”

But he doesn’t play down an EPL return as he says,

“I don’t fear to return to England, or to play in Spain. I believe I can make it there. You can’t compare my time at Chelsea with what is now.”
