If you believe a report in the Telegraph, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool may have a chance of signing Barcelona’s Pedro Rodriguez for as little as £7 million as the player is reportedly been offered around EPL clubs.
Pedro’s contract expires in the 2016 of next year and has made it clear he will not be signing another contract with Barca who have in turn told him he will not be allowed to leave the club for free and has been hawking him around.
Barca have in the past confirmed they will like to keep the player at the club but with the player not ready to sign a new contract, Barca have decided to sell even if it means for £7 million.
This is especially interesting as Chelsea currently only have Hazard as the only natural winger at the club. With Pedro available for just £7 million, I would be surprised if Mourinho is not interested. Pedro who has played 203 games for Barca scoring 58 goals will offer Chelsea what the likes of Oscar, Ramires and Willian are currently not able to offer.
Imagine Hazard on one wing and Pedro on the other? Another great thing is the Spaniard can play as a striker which means Mourinho will have a replacement for Costa when his hamstring gives in as it is to be expected or when Costa needs some rest.
