After getting their title defence off to a very disappointing start, Chelsea will no doubt be looking to strengthen their team. Several key players in several positions have disappointed for the Blues. Eden Hazard, Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa have been just some of the key players that have disappointed.
The disappointing season of Diego Costa has been of most concern for the Chelsea higher arch. Costa who was last season’s top scorer was key for Chelsea’s title charge. This season has been a different story and speculation has been rife that the Spain striker will be sold.
Names such as Paco Alacer of Valencia and Lyon’s Alexander Lacazzette have been mentioned as replacements as well as Tottenham’s Harry Kane. Kane who had a stellar last season by scoring 30 goals, had a slow start this season., but eight goals in five games has arrested that slump.
Kane’s form in the last month and last season no doubt has made him one of the hottest strikers in Europe. The chances of Chelsea signing Kane could be difficult due to the fact that Daniel Levy is a hard chairmen to deal with, but in football money talks.
Harry Kane is a player that can improve Chelsea no doubt, The Blues need to sign a player of this calibre to improve on a stuttering season.
