Agent – Modric wants to sit down and talk … about Chelsea!
Although Luka Modric has not handed in a formal transfer request it is still believed that he wants to leave Tottenham and join Chelsea in order to play in the Champions League next season. The player has met with chairman Daniel Levy today and his agent has said that Modric wants to ask for a transfer.
According to the Metro the blues owner Roman Abramovich is offering Tottenham £22 million for the 25-year-old that has been rejected as Levy said that Modric “will not be sold for any price”.
Modric’s agent Nikky Vuksan said: “I don’t think he’ll hand in a transfer request. He will honour his contract. He wants to play Champions League and win trophies. The only way we can resolve this is to sit down and talk.”
He added: “Luka will report today for training and will do his best, as always.”
It is suggested that Luka wants to keep things amicable between himself and the club but the feeling is that his desire to play in the Champions League is still true and that he would prefer to join Chelsea.

I think chelsea should sign faca’o is a good player
if an average english playe can go for 35miillion,i think a near perfect modric is whorth far more than 22million.chelsea should raise d price to 30million.levy should know that it’s unfair to respect a player wish and it will make no seanse to keep an unhappy player.

i urge chelsea to act towards this opportunity, now that the player is willing please respected billionair step it up a little cos this is a good buy chelsea will never regret having this. Let him be given the opportunity to dominate in that midfield. Lampard is weak. Modric in capable for replacement.
