Alex Teixeira To Join Chelsea This Weekend? Read The Latest Development

Chelsea are set to face serious competition for the services of Shakhtar Donetsk star midfielder Alex Teixeira. Teixeira has revealed talks with Paris Saint-Germain ahead of the January window.

“I know that there is interest on their part,” the former Brazil Under-20 star revealed. “There have been talks but nothing concrete at this point.

“For the moment what interests me is going on holiday to Brazil, and we will see what the future holds for us.”

Teixeira confirmed last month that Premier League champions Chelsea  and Serie A giants Juve have also entered talks with Shakhtar.

The Brazilian has risen to prominence over the past season following his impressive performances in the Champions League and domestic competitions alike.

He’s attracted interest from top European sides although Chelsea seem to be the front runners for his signature but with the interest from PSG there could be a twist to the Texieria transfer saga.
