Alex Teixeira To Undergo Chelsea Medical As Oscar & Willian Convinces Their National Team Mate To Join Chelsea

Chelsea inch closer and closer to sealing the transfer of their main target so far in the market, Alex Teixeira. Teixeira has been in blistering form this season for Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine. His performances have attracted interests from different clubs but it is the London club that are so close to capturing him. Chelsea have been tracking the Brazilian midfielder since last summer and are believed to be now close to mark than ever before.

However, reports filtering in suggest that the process and positive impact achieved so far is more a collective teamwork as opposed to an individual quest. While the club’s hierarchy are working assiduously to make the deal possible and with minimal hitches, a couple of the players are also doing their bit to convince Teixeira to sign on.

The players Chelsea may have to thank both Willian and Oscar, if Teixeira eventually makes the switch to Stamford Bridge. According to Fichajes, the Brazilian duo are instrumental in persuading their compatriots of the sensibility and benefits of joining the defending champions. It is claimed that Teixeira’s closely-knitted relationship with Willian and Oscar will prove pivotal in swinging his decision in favour of the Blues.

Willian, in particular, played alongside Teixeira at Shakhtar Donetsk before making a move to Anzhi Makhachkala en route to Chelsea.
