Chelsea have sorely needed the qualities of a good striker since the start of the season but have had to make do with the ones they have in the squad who have been battling with injuries and when not injured cannot even score goals to save the team.
The Blues presently have only Diego Costa as the striker in the team and this is very slim too as even he just git back from a knock he got against Everton in their last English Premier League match.
Recent reports from transferrumours.co.uk are now suggesting the Blues are looking to leave their young striker Patrick Bamford in the club to support Diego Costa in the front especially as they cannot seem to be able to sign any striker.
However, Norwich City and Swansea City are also said to be very keen on signing the young striker as they believe he has the potential to become a very good striker in their squads.
The player is however not so keen on going anywhere at the moment after a failed loan stint with Crystal Palace this season where he has only made six substitute appearances despite winning the Championship player of last season when he went on loan to Middlesbrough where he scored 17 goals in 38 appearances.
Norwich City however do not want him on loan but want to sign him permanently and it remains to be seen if the Blues will guy this or if they will even be ready to let him leave at all.
