According to highly reliable Italian Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United target Paulo Dybala is set to complete his transfer from Palermo but not to Chelsea or any of the aforementioned clubs but instead to Juventus.
Should the highly reliable Journalist who has broken many transfer news in the last four transfer windows be right again, it will come as a big blow to Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United.
There had been reports that Chelsea was close to signing the player after Roman Abramovich assured Jose Mourinho he has his backing to sign the Argentine but the player has decided he wants to remain in Italy and has decided to join Juventus instead of moving to Chelsea.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the player’s agent Triulzi has arrived in Italy from Buenos Aires to close the negotiation with Juventus. Di Marzio claims a meeting is scheduled for Thursday and if successful, either clubs will announce an agreement has been reached.
According to Di Marzio, Juventus will pay €28m upfront plus an addition €8m add on which the Italian describes as ‘difficult to achieve’ performance-related bonuses. It is also reported that Juventus has offered Palermo two players as part of the deal. The said players Horour Magnusson, Leonardo Spinazzola and Edoardo Goldaniga who is currently on loan from Juventus to Palermo.
It is reported that Dbyala is already excited about the move and will quickly agree personal terms with the Scudetto winner to ensure the deal is completed as soon as possible.
