The Chelsea manager has come out in praise of the 18 year-old French kid Gael Kakuta, and has included him in the squad for todays game against Wolves.
The poor lad was the only one that was actually punished during Chelsea’s transfer ban as he was forced to sit on the sidelines for six weeks until the ban was suspended, but Ancelotti praised him for staying focused during that time.
“Kakuta suffered for one or two weeks with what happened. But after he returned he was quiet and calm, he has trained with us and been good.
“He is a very good talent, but he is very young. But he can become a player in the culture of the club with his quality. At that age, I have never seen one player with his talent. It has been worth all the attention. Technically, he is fantastic. His left foot is very good and he has a good character.”
It will great to see Kakuta get a chance to come on today as reward for all he’s been through. Remember if the ban is upheld he may well be sidelined again.
I can’t help but feel sorry for him as none of it can be blamed on him.
