Ancelotti – Portsmouth is not an "easy game"

Chelsea face Portsmouth tonight looking to arrest a sequence of four games without a win, but coach Carlo Ancelotti refuses to say that Portsmouth will be easy to beat because they are lanquishing at the foot of the table.

“No game is easy.” he said. “We had the problem with Wigan, Aston Villa and Everton. Nothing is easy in this football.”

“English football is very competitive, every team has the possibility to create a difficulty if you don’t have good concentration and motivation.

“The teams try to play open, even against strong teams. In Italy teams defend deep, only counter-attack. In England is different, you can find teams that can come to Stamford Bridge to play open.

“Every game is a challenge for me, but I prepare the game like an Italian game. I look at the other team and want to find the negative aspects and positive aspects.”

Portsmouth are now being manager by Avram Grant, the man who took Chelsea close to winning the Champions League two seasons ago, and he will be looking to get a result on his first visit to Stamford Bridge since then.
