Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas has been getting a bit of stick for his teams performance at Old Trafford last Sunday, with Alan Hansen calling him “naive.” AVB has now hit back at Hansen claiming there was no naivety in his team last weekend.
AVB is not happy with Hansen, who made his comments on Match of the Day, and has now hit back saying, “People like that basically just live from lowering others and taking pleasure from criticising. There was no naivety at Old Trafford. We were the best team and the scoreline was completely false.”
Well said that man. How many teams will go to Old Trafford and try and win this season? Not many I know. In fact you could probably count on one hand the number of teams that will go there trying to win.
United’s first two goals were offside and on another day would have been disallowed, and if Fernando Torres had capped his fine all round display with a couple more goals it could, and should have been a different result, and if we are honest he could have quite easily scored four.
It seems that these so called football pundits, like Hansen, like nothing better than criticising others. It is good to see AVB standing up for his team and himself.
yes, but they lost;
there were clearly identifiable frailties in chelsea ‘s defence; and far from being that the only game we have seen that;
he should sort out the defence, but i think AVB is doing well, the team ‘s play is better; also get a proper striker in the mold of etoo, aguero, i.e. clinical finishers;
