Antoine Griezmann To FINALLY Become A Chelsea Player
The same Premier League that Chelsea conquered last season has appeared to be consuming them after a disappointing start to the campaign.
Their season has so far being marred by indecent performances from the goalkeeper through the midfielders to the attackers. At 15th position on the League table, Chelsea’s focus have been shifted from winning the League to challenging for Champions League qualification.
Report according to the Express claims Chelsea are preparing to raid the city of Madrid for one of La Liga’s finest midfielders Antoine Griezmann. The reported stated that €56 million is already in the offing for the impressive goal scorer.
Since moving from Real Sociedad to Atletico Madrid, Griezmann has become one of the best players with the Rojiblancos. Playing mainly as a maverick midfielder, the 24 year-old French has scored seven goals in 16 appearances in all competitions this term.
With the strikers of Chelsea being woeful, Abramovich have already rooting to players that can bolster that squad. Costa, Remy and Falcao have scored four league goals. The report further stated that Griezmann one of several players on the transfer wish list of Chelsea.
Nonetheless, it is highly unlikely that the French super star will be allowed to leave the Rojiblancos in January. A summer transfer seems more feasible.
