Cech – Chelsea will be fine without Drogba and Co!

Chelsea will lose Didier Drogba, Michael Essien, Salomon Kalou and John Obi Mikel next week when they all go off to the African Nations Cup, but keeper Petr Cech thinks that the team will be able to cope without them.

“I think we’ve been rotating players until now and we did very well, so we hope again this is going to be the case,” said Cech.

“Of course we will miss those players, but we have time to prepare for January. We knew they were going to leave, so it’s just a case of coping.

“We have a squad with quality players which will have a chance to play and they can do it for us.”

The four games that will be missed in January are home games against Birmingham and Sunderland, and away games at Hull City and Burnley.
