Former Chelsea right-back Paulo Ferreira has revealed he will like to rejoin the Blues as member of Jose Mourinho’s coaching staff at Chelsea. Chelsea have so far this season won the league cup and they are on course to win the premier league title which would be Jose Mourinho’s third title as Chelsea manager.
A premier league win will add to Mourinho’s record of a league cup win ( then known as the carling cup ) and two EPL titles and two FA cups.
Ferreia who followed Jose Mourinho to Chelsea from Porto in 2004 after their champions league triumph has revealed he will like to join Chelsea after completing his B license.
“I’ve just finished by B license. There are two more years to finish the job and become a coach. I hope I will be able to join the coaching staff of Mourinho at Chelsea. It would be a huge experience for me.”
Ferreira went on to say he believes Jose Mourinho coudld reign over an era of Chelsea domination of English football.
“When you are at this club you want to win titles and for next season it will be the same. The motivation is to win trophies,” Ferreira said, speaking on behalf of club sponsors Gazprom.
“He wants to succeed and do well, for how long I do not know. I think everyone at the club wants him to stay for a long, long time.
“I think everyone would like to see him in control for many years but in football, anything can happen.”
Chelsea are currently top of the premier league table 10 points above closest rivals Arsenal with only just 6 games to play for both teams.
