Chelsea aiming for proven Premiership midfielder

Having already announced the arrival of Marko Marin for next season, it seems that Chelsea are now aiming for another midfielder, but this time one with proven Premiership experience.

The Belgian Marouane Fellaini has has always looked too good for an Everton side that has always punched above its weight in the Premiership, and his father and agent has repeatedly made announcement that clubs like Chelsea and Arsenal have been making moves to tempt him over to a bigger club, but it has usually been just hot air.

But today the Mail reckons that Fellaini is the next target on Roman Abramovich’s wishlist, and the giant (6ft 4in) hardman would bring a wealth of top class experience to the Chelsea side, as he also has over 30 appearances for his country to add to his four years at Goodison Park.

Everton’s financial problems don’t seem to get any better every year, but David Moyes always seems to buy very good players at a good price which doesn’t entail him buying lots of online lottery tickets to fund them!

He is usually able to make them play much better than was previously thought so he generally needs to sell one star player every summer to free up cash for bringing in a couple of bargains, and perhaps this summer it could be Fellaini on his way out?

Fellaini isn’t good enough to play for Chelsea plus he’s too slow. So we don’t need him please.
