It seems that Chelsea are still looking for players to strengthen their team, despite the ban imposed on them by FIFA. They have located a young Croatian goalkeeper who they are hoping will grow into a long-term replacement for Petr Cech when he hangs up his gloves.
The Croatian side Inter Zapresic have today announced a deal to sell their goalkeeper Matej Delac to Chelsea, and their director Branko Laljak said: “This transfer will save our club from bankruptcy.
“We are sure this transfer will help us, as now the whole world will know the name of our club.
“We are proud that we made a player for one of the biggest clubs in the world.”
