It has been reported that Juventus are willing to sell Chile international, Arturo Vidal in the coming transfer windows. There have been talks pointing at his exit from Turin after this season, and it is said he is likely headed to England. Arsenal and Manchester United are said to be vying for the signature of the midfielder, but with some other reports linking him to Chelsea, and even guaranteeing his move to the Stamford bridge by summer, the 2 clubs might just be in for a surprise.
The 28 year-old has twice been a target of the EPL Champions. Back in 2011 and recently, during last year’s summer transfer, but both deals fell through. It has now been claimed the midfielder will be sold for 40 million Euros by the Old Lady if any of the suitors is willing to meet the pay. The player’s agent, Fernando Felicevich is said to have held talks with Arsenal after the F.A Cup victory at the weekend, as he was at Wembly to also watch one of his clients, Sanchez. He also spoke with the Red Devils, as United also show interest in Vidal’s services currently, with LVG claiming to want him next season.
Wenger has however denied Arsenal links with the player, the French man told the press when asked about Vidal links, “We have good midfielders and at the moment we are not looking at Arturo Vidal”. And that could just change situations, as Chelsea will only have United to battle with for the player’s signature. Juventus also see Oscar as his replacement, and with Pogba’s transfer to Chelsea almost not certain again, the Blues might decide to exchange Oscar for Vidal in a deal.
