Chelsea Close In On THREE BIG Signings, All Could Be Completed This Week

If you believe all the reports in the media in the last one month, Chelsea has decided to start their summer transfer business early like they did last summer. Many players have been in the last few weeks linked to the club but from all indication, the blues are set to strengthen their title winning side with three new signings which look close to completion.

First on the list is Manchester United flop Ramadel Falcao who is reportedly set to complete a move to Chelsea this week after his agent Super agent Jorge Mendes reportedly held talks with Chelsea. The blues are reportedly interested in signing him after the player admitted he will be willing to take a pay cut to ensure the deal goes through. Reports claim Chelsea will have to pay £25 million to sign him which looks to me as a steal. Let’s face it, Falcao might have had a bad season with United, but that doesn’t take away his class. Under a proper coach like Mourinho, I foresee the Colombian rediscovering his form again.

Another player that Chelsea could complete his signing this week is Atletico Madrid’s Toby Alderweireld who played the outgoing season on loan with Southampton. According to reports, the player wants a move away from Atleti and Southampton are keen on keeping him on a permanent deal but Chelsea could hijack the move. It is believe to make the deal go through, Chelsea will offer Filipe Luis in exchange.

The last player Chelsea are reportedly close to signing this week is Bundesliga star Abdulrahman Baba who could be the replacement for Luis Filipe. Aside Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United are said to be interested in signing the Augsburg player but it is the blues who will get the signature of the player according to reports.
