Chelsea Close To Signing Hulk?
Chelsea might be closer than thought to the second transfer of the summer, and if the first one, that of Marko Marin, was a good one, the second one promises to be perhaps the most important signing the Blues made in the past few years.
Torres’ transfer is most likely to pale in front of this one, as Chelsea are supposedly very close to the signature of 25-year-old Brazilian striker Hulk from FC Porto. After impressing again this year at the Portuguese club, Hulk is now looking for a bigger challenge and his agent claims that Chelsea is one of the player’s most favored teams.
“We are open to talks with Chelsea at any time, any place. There is interest, but at the moment there is still nothing concrete.”
“He likes the English Premier League a lot and Chelsea are a good club for Hulk”, he added.
Hulk managed to win the Europa League with Porto last season, and the Portuguese league this season. The success has rendered him greed for more, and after seeing the Blues win the Champions League, he is now interested in joining the side which surprised everybody this season.
Hulk’s ambition and huge skills are due to make the likes of Drogba forgotten instantly, but Chelsea still have to push hard in order to get his signature.
