Former Barcelona star Pedro could be set for an early exit from Chelsea, as Jose Mourinho plans a major squad overhaul ahead of the January window.
Pedro enjoyed an impressive premier league debut against West Bromwich Albion as he scored one and assisted another to secure a 3-2 win for the Blues.
Since then, Pedro has suffered a massive dip in form along with most of the Chelsea squad and he could be in line for an exit just after spending a few months at the club, as per the Spanish publication.
The transfer saga that brought the former Barcelona man to west London was drawn out and public after Chelsea apparently poached the deal from Manchester United, but with just one goal from eight Premier League appearances, Chelsea will be a lot less delighted with their coup than they once did.
After winning multiple trophies with Catalan giants Barcelona last season, Chelsea is currently down in 16th place in the Premier League, as the Blues struggle to retain retain the premier league title.
Pedro has created a total of 14 chances for Chelsea, one of which was an assist. Pedro isn’t the only player that could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge in January with Eden Hazard and Diego Costa reportedly on route for an exit, as reported by the Daily Express.
Mourinho will attempt to axe this season’s underperformers in hopes of bringing in fresher legs that can take the premier league by storm.
Chelsea have been linked to a number of targets, especially strikers as Mourinho is expected to seriously revamp the Chelsea attack.
