Chelsea Could COMPLETE Transfer Business For £75,000-A-Week Defender

31 years old Serbian and Chelsea’s right back, Branislav Ivanovic has been seen by German club, Bayern Munich as a transfer target. He has just a year left in his current deal at Chelsea. The blues are known to only sign over-30 (years old) players for one-year deals, and the Serbia national team captain might see a move to Bayern as a financial prospects, and another career at a top club.

If the Blues however decide to hold on to him, they won’t be able to cash in on his sales if his deal ends, as he will be on a free transfer by then. But with a cloud of uncertainty hanging around his future, the Bundesliga might just be next stop for the defender who could be looking forward to prospective new challenges.

The versatile defender is fans’ and coach’s favorite, and there have been speculations that he will put pen to paper as regards a contract extension. He has established himself as one of the best defenders in the EPL since he arrived from Lokomotiv Moscow back in 2008. He initially struggled at Stamford Bridge, but he is now a regular member of the starting eleven. His ability to attack and also covert set-pieces’ chances, are what make him an all-round defender. Coincidentally, both Jose and Pep are fond of such qualities in a defender.

The P.F.A team of the year player has six goals and four assists to his credit this season, and he has been instrumental in the team’s quest for the premier league trophy. Having won the league, Europa and champions league trophies already with Chelsea, and with nothing to prove again at Stamford bridge, a move to work will Guardiola might just attract him.
