Chelsea Could Make SHOCKING £300,000/Week Sign But Hazard May Leave

Real Madrid are considering selling Manchester United and Chelsea target Gareth Bale once the summer transfer window is opened according to reports in Spain. Bale who only two summers ago moved to Real Madrid in a world record £85m deal from Tottenham have constantly been linked to a return back to the Premier League with Chelsea and Manchester United reportedly keen on signing him.

Few weeks ago, Chinese company Alibaba released the biggest hint the Welsman may be on his way to the premier league when they started selling Chelsea shirts with Bale’s name on the back with the number 9 shirt.

This move from the Chinese company had raised the hope of many Chelsea fans but Real Madrid quickly rebuffed the rumour that Bale was going to leave Spain for England. However, as things change fast in the transfer market especially when Real Madrid is involved, the player may well play for Chelsea next seaosn.

I for one do not trust Real Madrid to keep to their words when they say they are not selling a particular player. Di Maria, ozil, Van Da Vaart, Sneijder and many other ex Real Madrid players were sold just weeks after the club claim they were not going to sell them. They are very likely to sell Bale or any other player for that matter if they discover another player they consider to be a better player is available.

Do Chelsea need Bale?

Bale is a very good player, one any club with an ambition to win things should want to sign. He will cost Chelsea a lot of money if they must sign him but I really do not think the club need him or that they will sign him. One We are well stocked in the midfield and on the wings, not that what we have is better than him though. Unless Willian and or Oscar is sold, Chelsea do not need Bale especially as he is not going to come cheap. If there was no FFP to bother with, I will definitely like to see us sign him but with UEFA seemingly serious with FFP, Chelsea have to be careful with their transfer dealings.

The only way I can see Chelsea signing Bale is if Hazard is leaving. Should Hazard leaves which is possible but not likely this summer, Chelsea will not only need Bale as a like for like replacement but also have the money to actually sign the Welshman.
