Chelsea should have won the game but the referee failed to spot, or award, two clear penalties for the Blues. All the talk before the game was about the handshakes, or lack of them, between QPR defender Anton Ferdinand and Chelsea captain John Terry and left back Ashley Cole. Apparently the FA had stepped in and the clubs had come to an agreement. Well it didn’t work, because the team handshake went ahead and Terry clearly expected Ferdinand to shake his hand but he was ignored, as was Cole. Oh well, I don’t think they will have cried themselves to sleep.
The match was tough and no holds barred but not overly antagonistic.The home crowd tried to ramp up the tension and booed Terry and Cole whenever they were near the ball but the players were hard but fair.
Ryan Nelsen laughed after the match about his rugby tackle on John Terry that should have given Chelsea but referee Andre Marriner gave nothing. His decision making was even worse soon afterwards when he gave a corner for Shaun Wright-Phillips’ challenge on Eden Hazard as the Belgian winger made a great run in to the box. Wright-Phillips was nowhere near the ball, so it was either a penalty or a dive and the ref bottled it. Replays clearly show that Hazard was fouled.
Victor Moses came on for his debut and looked bright and inventive. He should be a great acquisition for Chelsea. We are still one point clear in the table and things are looking good, we just need a better referee.
Dat ref is d begest foul in premier. Stopid manchester utd fans.go nd meet haward wep 2 teach u more of it. IDIOT…!!!
May be ur wife no give u pussy d nit b4
It is a clear seen that the referee was bias in his officiating, I think all was done so that chelsea won’t grap the whole point
Anybdy who knws R.D.M too well nd loves him,should send him this piece of advice….1,if he wants to retain his job til january, then he must start playin players in their natural wing,nd dat means ramires 4 any reasn is nt meant 4 d wings,may be d ordeal of monaco escapd so soon,but i knw juventus arnt coming to do “the napolis”on wednesday,.2,if he wants chelsea fans to rememba him as a gr8 manager,then he must stop startin games wit lampard cos its nw obvious he is nt wat we thought he was,easily losin focus in games has nw become his norms,age 4 sure is takin its toll,r.D.M should start playing romeou orieol,…3,may b we bought azpilicueta to sit on the bench,but wen juventus proves to u dat ivanovic has no creativity talk more of skils,then he wil undastnd the importance of a creative fulbak in a squard.Athletico has already don more harm than gud,may b with time we wil get to knw who chelseas real problems is/are…..In all,i hv grown to see chelsea sack coaches evry seasn,but its gradualy dawning on me,cos i cant spend 80milion pounds 4 nothing,talk more of a man in d position of abrohimovic….Wat wil cost R.D.M his job wil b team selection….Mark my words.Cos he has wat it taks to chaleng any team,bt he is influencd by smthing only knwn to him.
chelsea, you cannot score all your goals out of penalties,
i am quite happy they were not given, wake up!
chelsea won’t go far this year, mediocre coach!
bertrand as a winger to break the attacking QPR????? is that a joke? then maybe play turnbull as extra centre back instead of torres because he is tall and could jump higher, tightening the defence so QPR does not suffocate us?
i struggle with what i see di mateo doing (or not doing) and what he is stating;
the “out of position coach” goes for his out of position players !
there is no way a bus parker can now be used as a builder of the new attacking chelsea!!!
no way! you’ll find out at a cost!!
ps: oscar should be in the team, we see all around man city, man utd , playing young no names, and those doing well; oscar is a fab player now;
also i cannot believe chelsea went ahead headless this season
(because with torres adn sturridge this is what chelsea is, decapitated, they have no strike force, so mediocre you feel like crying);
i’d rather trust piazon on what i saw of him this preseason, way more than what we have up front now!
the referee was just too partial,wright phillip challenge was a clear penalty i was so surprise when the referee did not blow the whistle….england needs a good referee.
