Chelsea News Round : Lavezzi Could Become A Blue, Hazard Could Leave And Other News

Chelsea are keen on landing Paris saint-Germain’s striker Ezequiel Lavezzi in the summer transfer window. They are hoping to sign two strikers during the transfer window and look to the 28 year old as a viable option. They have already held talks with the player’s agent in London this April.

The London club have been linked to several big names with Atletico Madrid’s prolific forward Diego Costa topping the list. Other big names on their shopping list include Angel Di Maria and Karim Benzema both of Spanish club Real Madrid.

According to reports, we are already close to signing Diego Costa with a deal already done with Atletico Madrid that will see the player join the blues in the summer. If true and we still want Lavezzi, then it probably will mean Mourinho is looking to offload 2 strikers in the summer and my guess will be that Eto and Demba Ba will go.

In other news, Chelsea’s on-loan safe-hands Thibaut Courtois who has been on loan at Ateltico Madrid would be returning to Stamford Bridge this summer. Petr Cech sustained a shoulder injury during their first leg semi final match against Atletico Madrid in Spain last week. He may be out for about three months.

Another Chelsea’s player, Thorgan Hazard brother to Chelsea’s Eden Hazard, has been very impressive at his club Zulte Waregem and is generating interests from clubs across Europe with clubs in England, Italy and Germany willing to sign him on loan. It would be quite interesting to watch the Hazard brothers both play for Chelsea.
