Chelsea Officially Confirms 2 NEW PLAYERS, Both Already in England, Both Will Start Training With the Team This Week
Chelsea have announced the return of two of their players Patrick Bamford and Christian Atsu who were sent on loan to Crystal Palace to Bournemouth respectively, per club official website.
Bamford, 22, ended last season as player of the season for Middlesbrough for the club and moved to Crystal with so much prospect. However, he fell out of favour under Alan Pardew and was made a fringe player.
The striker featured six times in the Premier League for the Selhurst Park outfit but all of his cameos were from the bench. He was left on the bench by Allan Pardew more often than not.
Meanwhile, Christian Atsu, was recalled back from Bournemouth. He made two appearances for the Cherries in their Capital One Cup. He picked up an injury and was sidelined with injury.
He was sent back to Chelsea for his rehabilitation and the Blues now have him within their fold. The Winger was impressive for Vitesse while on loan with them and might get back to his form.
However, their lack of playing time for Crystal Palace and Bournemouth respectively means they might not be ready for first team football. It is believed that they might be sent on another loan for their development.
