Chelsea on alert as Luis Suarez buy-out clause made public

Luis Suarez could be snapped up for £40million after was revealed that the Uruguayan hitman has a release clause in his contract.

The Liverpool striker is the stand out player at Anfield this season, single-handedly tormenting defences and winning games.

Suarez has scored 10 goals already this season with most of his goals coming with very little service. He puts everything he can into his game and works so hard week in week out.

Suarez is thought to be committed to the cause at Anfield, but every footballer at the top of their game wants to be winning trophies, and playing in the biggest competitions, and Suarez is yet to play Champions League football with Liverpool.

With Chelsea already linked with various strikers, Suarez may be the answer, with his experience of already performing in the Premier League, whereas Edinson Cavani and Radamel Falcao have yet to try their hand here. The thoughts of a Falcao-Suarez link up in Chelsea colours is blowing my mind. Somebody ought to tell Roman Abramovich that he can have them both for £88M and no team will ever keep a clean sheet against us…
