Chelsea PLAN To Sell Three Players In January, To Table Bid For £300,000-A-Week Star As Abramovich Plans To Release CASH Again
Chelsea are in desperate need of fine players this season and they might be aiming high to get themselves out of their problems at the moment and recent reports are claiming that Chelsea may be ready to sell at least three star players to fund a £70million move for the Real Madrid star and World Best Player Cristiano Ronaldo, according to reports from the Mirror.
Also according to Spanish publication AS, Blues owner Roman Abramovich is desperate to turn around Chelsea’s recent situation and he thinks he might have to something drastic like bringing Cristiano Ronaldo to Stamford Bridge using his close relationship with Spanish super-agent Jorge Mendes to aid the transfer.
And to do so, Abramovich might need to cough out over €100million (£70million) to secure the player’s services, and this would break the current world-record transfer fee for a player.
However, Chelsea might need to sell off some of their players to cover up for the huge hole that the transfer will create in their purse and Eden Hazard, Nemanja Matic, and Oscar might be the ones to be shooed out to increase funds or to balance the books.
Reports are however suggesting that Eden Hazard might just be sent to Real Madrid with some added fee get Cristiano Ronaldo since Madrid are also said to be keen on bringing the Belgian international to the Santiago Bernabeu with the player’s struggles at Stamford Bridge this season.
It remains to be seen what will happen at Chelsea.
