Chelsea Set To Complete SECOND Transfer Business As £23.3m Is Almost Done

Juan Cuadrado

Juan Cuadrado is on his way out of Chelsea. This is following a tweet by Guglielmo Cannavale  who said “#Cuadrado will leave Chelsea: meeting between his agent and Mourinho in next days. Inter and Roma are interested (via @DiMarzio) #CFC”. Should Cuadrado leave Chelsea this summer, then it would mean the former fiorentina man has spent just half a season at the Stamford Bridge. Purchased for £23.3million in January, the world cup sensation has struggled for form in Chelsea and has been on the fringes of the first team. Averaging a total of 14 appearances in all competitions, the Colombian international has failed to find the net, neither did he provide assists for his teammates.

These are shocking stats for a man with huge potential and promises. Would it be then that he has failed to cope with the rigors of the premier league? If so, should he look to leaving Chelsea? With his future ahead of him and according to reports a deal not far from being reached, Chelsea must be shrewd to avoid making a loss on him, and at the same time must be prepared to dreft in another player to replace him. Sadly, Juan Cuadrado’s time at Chelsea will leave a bitter taste on the tongue for being short and nothing short of a disaster as well
