The January transfer market will be opened in a matter of days from today and we can imagine Hiddink already dusting his transfer war-chest in a bid to bolster his squad and the return Chelsea back to the days of winning streaks.
Chelsea’s attacking problem have been apparent beginning this season and Chelsea are now looking to France international and Real Madrid attacker Karim Benzema and they will attempt to lure him in January.
Chelsea’s interest in Benzema stems from the recent Shenanigans of Costa who has been more involved in spat with the opposing defenders than scoring goals. It is understood that Hiddink will not take that kind of misdemeanour from Costa and is need of a better option.
Benzema is said to be unhappy with life at the Santiago Bernabeu and is in the want of a Premier League move. But the report has stated that Benzema is the favourite attacker of Florentino Perez and might not want the player to leave.
Despite being involved with a scandal, Benzema has been able to keep his head high up. He score four goals against Rayo Vallecano last night and has scored 15 goals in 12 matches in all competitions for Madrid this term.
It is now down to Hiddink to ensure a deal is completed for the Real Madrid want-away attacker.
