Chelsea Set To Sign £24m Who Has 10 Goals In 12 Games Striker

If you believe reports in the media, Liverpool are set to sign Burnley’s Danny Ings in a deal said to be worth 5 million. Danny Ings who has been linked to Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and the aforementioned Liverpool has been one of Burnley’s best players this season. He will be a free agent in the summer but Liverpool or whoever signs him will have to pay a nominal compensation to Burnley as he is yet to be 23.

Should the report claiming he has agreed to join Liverpool be true, it would mean Chelsea are then free to sign Aston Villa’s Benteke who has also been linked to both clubs. With Jose Mourinho reportedly in the market for another striker who will either oust Diego Costa from Chelsea’s first team or replace him when his normal injury woes strikes.

Although Arsenal and Manchester United are also said to be interested in signing the Belgian but Chelsea has a big advantage. First with Manchester United still having Falcao, Rooney and Robin Van Persie in their team, Benteke will know he has little chance of ever getting to play and with Arsenal, money talks. Chelsea can beat the gunners with a big wage offer.

Another thing that could help in Chelsea’s bid to sign Benteke is the presence of Hazard at Chelsea. Being a Belgian like Hazard, it could go a long way to help Chelsea sign Benteke who has scored a total of 10 goals in 12 games after a slow start to the season. He is reportedly available for £24 million.
