Wigan are sticking to their guns over the valuation of their winger Victor Moses. The chairman Dave Whelan wants £15 million for the 21-year old Nigerian international. Chelsea do not agree with the price as Moses has only really had one good season in the Premier league so he could be a risky signing.
Andre Schurrle from Bayer Leverkusen will cost even more but is seen as a safer bet. Roberto Di Matteo is very keen on the 21-year old German who can play as a striker or a winger. He has been very impressive for Leverkusen but has been employed more as a winger. He played more centrally for his previous club, Mainz, and has proved his ability in both positions.
Leverkusen have already rejected Chelsea’s first offer, thought to be around £16 million. Metro reports that this has not dissuaded Chelsea and they are preparing a second offer. The German club value Schurrle at £25 million, and Chelsea may be prepared to match that but with an initial payment somewhat less. They could make a deal in which Leverkusen would receive the full amount if Schurrle is a success in the Premier league.
Buth Schurrle and Moses are believed to be keen on the move to Stamford Bridge, and are hoping that their clubs are not too obstructive.
I think Moses is better than Shurrle….Had it been Victor Moses is a Brasilian player,Chelsea would even agree to pay up to £25m. Moses is a Powerful-Player who can worth up to £30m next season. He’s a 3 in 1 player,he can play as a Playmaker,Striker and a Winger. To me,he’s by far better than Andre Shurrle, £15m for a player like Moses is not much,Chelsea should please complete Moses deal and forget about Shurrle.
