Chelsea Target Antoine Griezmann Transfer Discuss In ADVANCE Stage, OFFICIAL Discussion Opened

In a news that will shock Chelsea fans who have been hoping to see Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann at Chelsea next season, Express is reporting that the player may way be on his way to France instead of to London. According to the paper, Atletico Madrid has opened official talks with PSG and their discussion is about a swap deal between both clubs involving Chelsea target Griezmann and Edinson Cavani.

Express who are citing Spanish media power house AS Sport claim talks are in advanced stage for Atletico to sign Cavani but are proposing Griezmann as part of the deal. Cavani has been linked to Atletico, Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and various other clubs in the last week as speculation about his future in France continue to sell papers.

Atleti’s manager Diego Simeon is reportedly keen on signing the Uruguayan and instead of losing Griezmann to Chelsea and not get Cavani, he will let the Frenchman go to the Frenchman just so he can get a like for like replacement.

However, although the report could be true especially as it is common knowledge that Atletico want Cavani, it remains to be seen if Griezmann will allow himself to be used as a bait. It will be an insult to the player hence such deals are always difficult and very rare.
